Litigation

Dispute resolution is an important part of a rounded legal practice. Litigation is an integral part of the service we offer.

The firm will act in commercial litigation, debt collection, personal injury work, family cases and private disputes. Criminal matters may also be regarded as litigation and the firm has a strong and active criminal law team. We also act in housing law cases.

In appropriate cases, the firm will handle personal injury claims on a "No win, no fee" basis.

We believe that it is essential to consider each litigious matter in terms of cost/ benefit. For too often one hears of cases in which the legal costs involved dwarf the claim. While in the final analysis decisions as to whether to go ahead, and decisions as to settling a case, rightly belong with the client, we will always bring the question of costs into the equation at appropriate times, so that a client can make an informed decision on the best course of action.
