Our quality commitment

The partners and staff of Young & Pearce are committed to creating and maintaining an environment which ensures that the legal services which we provide are in all cases of the high standard which our clients require, are good value for money and are provided effectively and within a time frame acceptable to our clients.

Quality assurance

We want to offer the best standards of care and service we can - at an economic rate.

Young & Pearce operate a quality assurance system complying with international quality standard ISO 9001:2000.  Our aim - to ensure that a high quality legal service is provided for every client.

The firm's registration body is the British Standards Institution.  Very few solicitors are at present registered to this standard.  We were the first in Nottingham.

Quality assessment

To comply with the International Standard we have a comprehensive system of internal inspection.  Every case, however simple, is planned from the outset.  Work is reviewed as the matter progresses.

The firm is periodically inspected and assessed by the British Standards Institution.   B.S.I., established under Royal Charter, is a body of the highest integrity and repute.  The B.S.I. kitemark is a well known symbol of quality and reliability.

In order to carry out these assessments, B.S.I. will from time to time inspect some of our files.  Its assessors will of course owe our clients the same high duty of confidentiality as do we ourselves.  B.S.I. assessors have considerable experience of assessing professional firms.

Your rights

Every client has an absolute right to tell us that they do not wish their files to be seen by B.S.I.  No reason need be given.  This instruction may be given at any time and will be complied with.  Refusal will not affect the conduct of any matter or the quality of work done in the slightest degree.
